      I cannot say enough about these mini books and pallets! It did take me a minute to figure out how to put the water in the pens tho lol they screw on backwards. I have literally been obsessed with painting. I'm not a great artist but I'm having so much fun trying. These wash up really well and I love the little wooden pallet. The paints are also nice. I've ordered three others for gifts. I sent my son and his girlfriend each one for their trip to Hawaii! I thought it would be fun to paint while they're on the beach. They are so small they're easy to carry! Don't laugh at my pictures I know I'm not a great artist. Lol it's so relaxing to paint!

      The paint dries very well once in the wooden pallet. Let sit for a couple nights or so and pour some more paint into it then let dry again!! Paint is a nice rich pigment. Brush holds water nice and the paper is super thick! Love it

      This set is TINY. It's so cute. The wells won't hold much paint, but at least you don't have to clean it out, as watercolor can be reconstituted every time you want to do more art with....water! The tubes are quite a bit for making tiny paintings in the tiny book. The paper in the book is fairly smooth with just a tiny bit of texturing, I could barely feel it. It will all fit in your pocket or travel bag/purse/whatever so you can paint anything anywhere.
